The cultural and historic heritage of Ripollès County and its capital Ripoll are of outstanding interest, as are the traditional festivals held in the area.
Ripollès boasts one of the largest groups of Romanesque art and architecture in the Pyrenees, including some of the finest examples in Europe, with about one hundred monuments in the 19 towns and villages of the county.
